Abstract: The present research project has as its centrality the Social Assistance Policy, with a focus on the financing of SUAS. Thus, it has as a general objective: to analyze the impacts of the New Brazilian Fiscal Regime, instituted from the approval of Constitutional Amendment n.95/2016, in the management and financing of the Unified Social Assistance System (SUAS), in the municipalities of the Metropolitan Region of Manaus, with a view to highlighting how such neoliberal measures have compromised the quality and supply of SUAS services, benefits, projects and programs. The theoretical and methodological basis of the research proposal will be Marxist social theory and the historical and dialectical materialism method. As for the research design, this is a qualitative research of an explanatory nature. In order to reach the objectives, bibliographical, documental and field research will be used, having as instruments and research technique, the semi-structured interview that will be applied to SUAS managers and social workers who work in CRAS, CREAS, Centro Pop and shelters in the following MMR municipalities: Manaus, Itacoatiara, Presidente Figueiredo and Novo Airão.
